A special treat for V/H/S fans, an original fanedit that acts as 'bonus content' and extra chapter to the VHS series that you didn't ask for, but never knew you needed!

 

I decided to return to the 80s, since V/H/S 85 is not only one of the best VHS outings, but deserved a 'part 2' IMHO! So here comes another contender. I figure if V/H/S 94 was followed by V/H/S 99 then why not do a riff on that?

 

The novelty here is that I wanted to go even farther back in time in tone, narrative and scope. Back to the kind of stories & shows that (I believe) inspired the V/H/S series. Like George A.Romero's "Tales from the Darkside" or Richard Rubinstein's "Monsters." TV is a shitty medium IMO. Always was, even when we thought it was good, it was almost ALWAYS bad. Yeah, you got M.A.S.H. and Seinfeld, and some good miniseries. But that was 5% of what was on it. So in that spirit I wanted to also include a couple oddball made-for-TV movies that were special for their time. One of them need A LOT of work given how dated it was. But that's what fanediting is for, amirite?

 

So prepare yourself for four stories from the beyond. A modern day Frankenstein followed by a ghost story then a sci-fi monster romance and then a demonic fable about what ever kid fears under their bed or closet.
